How much does it cost to open a ProSource Wholesale franchise?

Our startup costs range from $910,216 - $916,966, according to our most recent Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

How much can I make?

We cannot predict or guarantee any financial outcomes under federal law. However, you can examine the earnings reported by our franchise owners in Item 19 of our FDD. As part of the validation process, you can contact any of our franchise owners, who are listed in Item 20 of the FDD, and they are free to provide you any information they feel comfortable sharing.

What are the qualifications for ownership? Do I need industry experience?

While industry experience can be helpful, it’s not required. We’re looking for leaders who are people-focused and align with our core values. Learn more.

What is the franchise fee?

The franchise fee is $46,450. In addition to the franchise fee there are other franchise startup costs. Qualified military veterans are eligible to receive a $26,450 discount off the franchise fee.

Are there other fees I should know about?

ProSource charges a 3% royalty fee and a 1% advertising fee. These fees are explained in detail in Item 6 of our FDD.

Does ProSource Wholesale offer financing?

While we don’t offer in-house financing, we do maintain relationships with third-party vendors who offer financing to qualified candidates to help you cover startup costs, equipment and inventory.

How long has ProSource been in business?

ProSource has been in business for more than 30 years. We opened in 1990 and started franchising in 1991.

How many ProSource franchise locations are there?

What does ProSource sell?

ProSource Wholesale showrooms provide one-stop shopping for trade pro members and their clients. We specialize in a wide range of products, materials and finishes for kitchens, baths and flooring.

Who are ProSource customers?

ProSource members are trade professionals from all areas of home building and home improvement, including builders, general contractors, interior designers, installers, remodelers, property managers, real estate professionals and architects.

What kind of support can I expect?

At ProSource, we’re as invested in you as you are in us. That’s why we provide support in all areas of operation, including recruitment, merchandising, technology, marketing and business services. You can count on our support not just through your grand opening, but throughout the life of your franchise. Before you open your showroom doors, you’ll undergo 53 hours of classroom training plus additional regional training.

How do ProSource franchise owners generate revenue?

We are North America’s largest wholesale home improvement business. Our business model is based on our membership-only showrooms open exclusively to trade pros from all areas of home improvement. Trade pros and their clients work with our dedicated account managers to ensure they can complete projects together successfully. You can provide members access to your showroom so you won’t be restricted by retail hours.

Can I own or operate other businesses?

Yes. ProSource franchisees can own other non-competing businesses.
